XY-CD63L 30A Battery Charge Discharge Module
DC 6/60V Battery Lead Acid Lion Lithium Accumulator Voltage Protector Voltmeter Indicator Delayed Start
This product is a control device that can turn the input voltage on and off with a relay. It turns the output on and off via the relay. It does not change the voltage.
XY-CD63L is used to control the charge, discharge and delayed start operations of batteries. Overcharging or completely draining batteries damages the battery and reduces its service life. This product can operate in charge or discharge mode. It cannot perform both functions at the same time. The connections for charging or discharging are shown in Pictures 2 and 3.
The product has a relay that can carry a high current such as 30A. It is appropriate not to exceed 20A in continuous use. Voltage input is made through the VIN terminal on the left. The terminals on the right marked Out are the output terminals.
Discharge: Accumulator voltage does not decrease linearly. For example, for a 12V accumulator, it drops from around 10V to 0V levels very quickly. You cannot see intermediate voltages such as 8V, 6V, 4V. Completely drained accumulators are physically damaged. Even if they are recharged, they cannot reach their old capacity. With XY-CD63L you can prevent the battery from draining completely. Thus the battery life will remain long.
Charge: Overcharging and heating of some batteries damages the battery. With this module you can prevent your battery from being overcharged. The cutting off of the charge when a certain charge voltage is reached is set, and at that voltage the charging process is cut off by the product.

Terms:
UP: Upper voltage limit
dn: Lower voltage limit
OP: Operation time
dOP: Conduction delay time (0-999 seconds)
FOP: in discharge mode: Forced start time (0-10 seconds)
Warning: Values such as charge voltage, charge current and discharge stop level may vary according to your accumulator. You need to know the lower voltage at which you will cut off the discharge.
Usage:
Charge Mode = IN : It is activated by setting the upper voltage limit Up and the lower voltage limit dn. When the battery voltage reaches the lower voltage limit and below,
the relay opens, the charger starts to charge the battery. When the battery voltage exceeds the upper voltage limit, the relay closes to complete the automatic charging. The blinking of the relay led indicates that charging is continuing.

Discharge Mode = OUT : It is activated by setting the upper voltage limit UP and the lower voltage limit dn. When the battery voltage exceeds the upper voltage limit,
the relay opens and starts the discharge process. When the battery voltage is less than or equal to the lower voltage limit, the relay closes. The automatic discharge function is performed. The blinking of the relay led indicates that discharging is continuing.

Package Contents:
- 1 Pcs XY-CD63L Module
Programs:
3.1 Charge/Discharge Time Control Function
When the OP parameter is set to a non-zero value, charge/discharge time control starts; while the relay is conducting
synchronization starts at the first charge/discharge; when synchronization is completed, the relay closes automatically and continues to complete a second charge/discharge process; if synchronization is completed, in charge mode voltage detection <lower voltage limit dn or
in discharge mode, when voltage detection exceeds the upper voltage limit, the charge time control function turns off automatically and the blinking
flashing H: ER display reminds the user that the parameter setting is not appropriate; press any button to stop the flashing;
When the charge/discharge time control setting is not made. The device records the full time when it is turned on, the display time is cleared when you exit the time display screen or at the next charge (relay open);
3.2 Automatic Parameter Recognition:
After setting the parameters and exiting, if the lower voltage limit dn and above the upper voltage limit, the system gives an error flash as a reminder;
3.3 Delayed Turn On Function dOP (0 / 999 seconds): the time interval between turning on again after the charge/discharge is completed;
3.4 Forced Start Time FOP (0 / 10 Seconds):
at the first charge/discharge meeting the conduction conditions the relay is forcibly opened (0 / 10 Seconds) and determines the battery voltage; this function is generally used for the discharge function and some load tests at the moment of conduction, it is rapidly dropped to the lower voltage limit and the relay closes due to false triggering.
