     Solenoid valves are electromechanical devices that are controlled by electrical energy and direct the flow of fluid (gas or liquid). It works with a DC 12V supply. It has a 1/2" 20mm pipe diameter. These valves can be used in water control systems, for example in washing machines. They can be used to control liquid flow in industrial automation systems. They are widely used in applications such as fuel control in automotive systems.

     Normally closed (NC) when electrical energy is not applied, the valve is in the closed position and the fluid flow is blocked. When electricity is supplied, the magnetic field moves the plunger, opening the valve and allowing the fluid to pass. A minimum pressure of 0.02Mpa (3 psi) is needed inside the valve so that the seals can open fully and the liquid can flow.
