     The DRV8833 IC contains 2 h bridge drivers on it. There is the possibility of driving 2 DC motors or 1 stepper motor. It can supply 1.2A of current from each bridge. It can supply 2A current instantaneously. In total it can provide 4A instantaneous current. In total, after levels such as 0.6A the IC needs to be cooled.

     The motor direction and speed can be controlled. It has overcurrent protection, short circuit protection, undervoltage lockout and overheating protections. It has a sleep mode. The speed and direction of the dc motors can be controlled independently of each other.
