Motor Speed Sensor Module

     It is a sensor that measures motor speed. You can use it in applications such as motor speed, direction, position limit, pulse counting etc. There is 1 pcs ir led and one ir receiver sensor. When an obstacle occurs between these 2 sensors, a signal is generated. The pulse output is read by an mcu and the speed is determined.  When an obstacle occurs, the sensor output is at high level. When there is no obstacle, the output is at low ( 0V ) level.

     You can use this product with the code disk we sell on the site. As we show below ( and in image number 8 ), the code disk can be mounted on a wheel. The speed sensor is attached at a suitable angle to the code disk. As the motor turns, the code disk turns and the movement of the motor is monitored by the light interruptions.
