     It is a speaker connection socket. It has a maximum AC 50V 3A carrying capacity.  You can use it for cable connections with thicknesses between 24/16 Awg. The socket hole is opened by pressing the latch of the spring socket. After the cable is inserted into it, the latch is released. The spring structure clamps the cable. You can quickly connect and disconnect the cables without soldering. It provides protection against effects such as impact, temperature and humidity. The socket latches are color coded in red and black to prevent incorrect connections.
