     This module is built with the TTP229 capacitive touch IC. There are 16 touch buttons in a 4x4 layout on the board. Numbers from 1 to 16 are printed on each button. It communicates digitally over IIC. It allows you to add touch buttons to your electronic projects. By assigning numbers or various functions to the buttons, you can obtain a data input sensor function.

     It can be used as an alternative to mechanical type keypads. It stands out for being more durable in dusty environments. When a capacitive load approaches the touch pad, the sensor detects the capacitance change and activates the switch. It can detect touch through thin layers of non-conductive materials such as glass, plastic, fabric or even wood. This way you can hide this sensor in the wall, on the desktop and in other places and get rid of the problems caused by traditional button use.

     It can be used with Arduino or a microcontroller and allows you to easily add capacitive touch input to your project. It can also be used independently without a kit. It is an ideal option for providing touch control in your projects and it is easy to use. It can be used in HMI (Human Machine Interface) applications, mechanical button key replacement projects and other automation projects.
